We have a love-hate relationship with Eva Mendes. On the one hand, the girl is stylish. She can rock colorful sunglasses, patterned dresses and floppy hats like no other. But on the other hand, she is dating our imaginary boyfriend, Ryan Gosling. So you understand our dilemma.
The 5'6" stunner, who is of Cuban descent, has an impressive résumé. Ms. Mendes has starred in blockbuster hits like "Training Day" and she has recently partnered with New York & Co. where she'll launch her very own fashion line, Eva by Eva Mendes. Oh, and did we mention that she is also our style muse? When she isn't looking adorable with her beau on the streets of New York City, she is killing it on the red carpet in head scarves and slinky ensembles. Although Mendes always claims, "without my make-up I'm pretty much the girl next door" -- her full lips and mysterious aura beg to differ.
In celebration of her 39th birthday (on Mar.5), we are taking a look back at some of her best style moments to date (which pretty much means all of her style moments, as this is a lady who rarely gets it wrong).
