Gwyneth Paltrow is not one to keep it conservative (when you work that hard for a "22-year-old stripper" butt, you want to show it off). Yet the 40-year-old actress traded in her typical body-conscious dress for a camouflaging pantsuit at the "Iron Man 3" premiere this weekend.
Gwyn stepped out in an Erdem top and pants with an all-over floral print and Jimmy Choo pumps. Her short-sleeve blouse featured an intriguing strong-shouldered capelet detail, perhaps a nod to the "Iron Man" superhero mentality. But her top's busy print seemed to obscure that offbeat feature of the outfit, and Gwyneth's choice to wear her hair down blocked the unique style from view, too.
This isn't Paltrow's first experiment with red carpet capes -- she worked a shouldered Tom Ford style at the Oscars in 2012. Take a closer look at the Erdem look below, and tell us what you think: Is Gwyneth's cape look super cool, or super bad?
