Just because Diane Von Furstenberg has had a hard couple of weeks, that doesn't mean she has to take a break from her jam-packed, glam schedule.
In case you missed it, the designer suffered a skiing injury last week when she fell and broke her shoulder in three places -- ouch. But since Diane is the closest living person to superwoman, she decided to forgo taking it easy and attend the Vital Voices Global Awards ceremony last night.
The 66-year-old joined Hillary Clinton, Ann Curry and other powerful ladies at the Kennedy Center to honor the "unsung heroines" of democracy. When she hit the stage with Hil, we couldn't help but notice her patterned arm sling. Is that bespoke DVF first aid gear?
Even though Diane had her very own chic custom sling, she wasn't 100 percent content with her situation, tweeting just before the event, "On my way to DC. Arm in a sling, broken shoulder. But isn't it what Vital Voices is about ? Strength ? Women inspire me !"
Consider us inspired, Diane. Check out the photos of Diane Von Furstenberg with Hillary Clinton at the Vital Voices Awards ceremony last night and tell us what you think of her snazzy sling.
