Ireland Baldwin promised she was ready to work, and she wasn’t kidding: the 17-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger has already cranked her modeling career into high gear.
“I’m getting into it. Doing it right,” Baldwin told reporters at the N.Y.C. premiere of The Company You Keep. “I want to know where it’s going to take me!”

Baldwin listed models that inspire her, including Miranda Kerr, Kate Moss — “Oh! And my mom, of course!” — adding that Basinger is playing modeling coach on the photoshoot sets.
“My mom’s very happy she can finally give me tips,” Baldwin said. “She’s always there, so she’ll stand in the back and say, ‘Turn your head this way, or do this!’”
And we thought it was only our moms telling us to stand up straight!
