As the weather (finally!) warms up, we find ourselves in search of a new hairstyle to keep our hair up and out of our way. While we contemplate updated ponytails and extreme cuts, one style star offered up an inventive alternative.
Carmen Electra attended a White Party in Palm Springs this weekend sporting an innovative style to sweep her hair back: cornrows. This isn't the first time we've seen Carmen in cornrows -- she wore the style to a nightclub earlier last month, then again on New Years Eve and even gave the side braids another try back in December.
We've seen other stars give cornrows a try, but we're especially intrigued by Carmen's updated version. While this style is infamous for taking lots of time and patience, Carmen proves you don't need to commit to braiding your whole head to rock the trend. Cornrowing a portion of your hair evokes comparisons to an undercut -- without the commitment of buzzing your head.
Would you try out Carmen's funky cornrows?
