Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) went to Stone Harbor Elementary School in New Jersey on Wednesday, where he fielded questions from kindergarteners.
Christie visited the newly re-opened elementary school after it was closed in October due to damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.
A young girl sitting on a rug with her classmates asked the governor about First Lady Michelle Obama.
"Was the president's wife enchanting?" she asked.
"Yes, actually she was," Christie responded to the class. "She went to the same college that my son goes to," he added.
The first lady and Christie sat next to each other at the Governor's Ball at the White House in February.
Christie told the kids about how he arrived at the school in a helicopter, how big his house is and how many times he has met President Barack Obama.
One boy asked if it was "hard being the governor."
"It's really hard being the governor," Christie said. "Sometimes it's really fun."
