WATCH: Nicki Minaj Plays A Ditzy Fashion Editor

We still can get over how fabulous and, well, normal Nicki Minaj looks on the cover of ELLE's April 2013 issue. The over-the-top rapper is turning over a new, more toned-down leaf and we're loving it.

To accompany the debut of her amazing makeunder, ELLE filmed a hilarious behind-the-scenes video of Nicki interviewing Nicki. We're not kidding. The 30-year-old star plays an overzealous (read: ditzy) ELLE.com fashion editor named "Nicole" who gets to interview the real Nicki Minaj. What transpires is a highly entertaining exchange that will leave you tickled!

Nicki plays the heck out of the fashion editor character. But we're not surprised--the "American Idol" judge graduated from New York City's LaGuardia High School, which is known for its music and performing arts curriculum.
