Small Screen Style Awards: The 3 Best TV Looks of the Week

Maria Menounos bargain style clothingNBC; Broadimage; NBC

Yes, it’s only Wednesday, but we’re ready to call it: The outfits spotted on Allison Williams, Jessica Alba and Olivia Wilde, who appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, respectively, stylishly surpass every other ensemble we’ve seen on-screen this week.

After spending the obligatory 30 seconds ogling Williams’s perfect hair when she stepped out on Fallon, we refocused our attention (and envy) on her dress. The embroidered black-and-white Narciso Rodriguez looks like something her Girls character Marnie would wear — and we mean that as a compliment. It’s chic and sophisticated, but the texture on the skirt and the curve-hugging cut give it a youthful, fun feel.

Alba also turned to Narciso Rodriguez for her TV appearance, a segment on GMA to discuss her new book The Honest Life. The forest green shade is perfect with her skin tone, the cutout is just the right size and placement and the high V-neckline is unexpected. But it’s what Alba wore on her feet that really won us over: beaded peep-toe slingbacks with a funky floral motif, designed by Nicholas Kirkwood.

And then there was the outfit we’d most like to borrow, the black-and-white Hervé Léger by Max Azria number Wilde wore for her interview on Leno along with bold red pumps. It’s a shame the dress isn’t available to the public yet because we have quite a few weddings we want to wear it to this spring. (Though, we would feel a little badly about upstaging the brides in this stunner.)

Wilde’s ensemble is the editor fave, but we want to hear which dress you like best. Tell us below!
