Do blonds really have more fun, Tom?
Actor Tom Hanks ditched his brown locks and sported a head full of blond hair at Tuesday’s 25th Annual “Simply Shakespeare” Benefit in Santa Monica, California.

The 59-year-old sported a white, button-down shirt with a gray tie and pants, but his blond ‘do topped off the simple ensemble as he snapped photos alongside his wife, Rita Wilson.
The ‘do isn’t the only style the actor has sported in recent months. Hanks was seen in a gray wig and thick mustache on the set of his new film, Sully in October.
The star’s look may come as a surprise to us, but Wilson looked all too familiar with her husband’s new ‘do as she smiled and embraced him at the event.

Last month, Hanks said at the Outfest Legacy Awards in Los Angeles– where he also sported blond hair along with a matching mustache– that he’s still in awe of his wife of 27 years.
“I still can’t believe my wife goes out with me,” Hanks said. “If we were in high school and I was just funny, I’d never have the courage to talk to her.”
