Nicky Hilton can’t seem to catch a break, at least style-wise. Last night, the socialite arrived at an event at Lincoln Center in a floor-skimming Valentino gown only to abruptly come to the realization that Tommy Hillfiger’s wife, Dee Ocleppo, was already there wearing the exact same look. And this isn’t the first time this fashion faux pas has happened to Nicky either.

Last night’s accidental Valentino coordination marks the second awkward Fashion Faceoff that has happened to the heiress in a very public way. Perhaps she’s simply forgotten the first time which took place all the way back in 2011 when her and pal Jaime King showed up wearing identical sequin leopard print minis. At least they styled them differently so it wasn’t quite as matchy-matchy as the Valentino maxi/gold heel run-in above.

Despite these repeated devastating blows to her outfits of choice, Nicky always appears to have a great attitude about all the accidental twinning, laughing them off and embracing her style counterpart with a shrug. But honestly, no one should have to live through as many doppelgänger red carpet moments as Hilton has. The next time someone’s wearing the same dress as her there’s going to have to be an on-the-spot Fashion Faceoff vote, and someone’s stylist is definitely going to pay.
