Gwyneth Paltrow Just Made Your Holiday Season With Her New Valentino Collaboration

Not content with merely attempting to break the Internet with her annual Goop gift guide, a tradition equally adored and maligned, Gwyneth Paltrow just announced two more major end-of-year projects. First, a collaboration with none other than Valentino. And second, a pop-up Goop shop in New York City.

We had a sneaky feeling there was more to the story when Paltrow made a rare appearance at a fashion show over the Summer, showing up for July's Valentino couture show in Rome. It turns out that she made the trek to Italy as a collaborator with the line's designers, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. (Paltrow tacked a getaway to the Amalfi Coast on to the trip - so the trip wasn't all business.)

Today, Paltrow and Goop unveiled their plans for the Goop x Valentino capsule collection, which consist of over 20 pieces and ranges in price from $275 to over $10,000. The range will go on sale both via goop.com and the soon-to-open Goop holiday pop-up shop in New York City, which will be situated inside the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle and opens on Nov. 23.

The pieces are unified around a theme of Wonder Woman, which is particularly relevant to Paltrow. She told the The New York Times, "Everybody is working, having kids, trying not to miss a soccer game while at the same time being on a conference call. The modern woman is a wonder woman."
