We’re gonna pull an Elizabeth Olsen and start referring to Jane Fonda as our “honorary grandmother”, because the iconic actress is a constant source of #lifegoals (plus, her abs look like this).
Fonda just pulled another trendy fashion move, hitting the red carpet Tuesday wearing a head chain accessory. (If anyone can bring back the trend, she can.)

The 77-year-old attended the L.A. premiere of her new film Youth, wearing a striking Valentino gown covered in 3D-floral appliqués. To complete her boho-inspired look she added a delicate head-chain and soft updo, plus, a red Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and statement H. Stern drop earrings. It’s very fitting that the ageless Fonda was standing in front of the step and repeat emblazoned with ‘Youth.’

While the star isn’t afraid to step out in skin-baring jumpsuits and figure-hugging gowns, she’s not convinced that she’s a fashionista.
“I think it’s a hoot that, at my age, people are calling me a fashion icon,” she told W magazine earlier this year. “I realized I didn’t have a lot of time left, and I wanted to pay more attention,” she added of her decision to step it up in the style department. “I had a vision: I wanted to give a cultural face to older women.”
