Last week, a crowd of Bottega Veneta–clad fashion folk gathered at Indochine in New York to celebrate Bottega Veneta: The Art of Collaboration, a new book by the brand's creative director, Tomas Maier, that packs 15 years of its artlike ads into 656 pages. Many who appeared at the dinner also show up in the book: models and campaign stars like Liya Kebede, Kasia Struss, and Isabeli Fontana; plus, photographers like Collier Schorr, Jack Pierson, and Alex Prager, who shot 2011's cinematic, Hitchcock-inspired campaign.
Media may not have been in attendance, but Jessica Craig-Martin — art-world documentarian and a specialist of sorts in hyperreal photos of high society — did manage to take some photos. Click through the slideshow for some exclusive scenes from the evening in her signature cropped frames, including plenty of red leather clutches and pastel-pink fur.
