Before stunning us with her dance moves at Sunday night’s Oscars, Charlize Theron was worrying about shoes. No, not her fancy heels, but the sunny orange flats she recently designed for TOMS and her charity, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP).
On Friday night, the actress got together with TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie at his flagship store in Venice, Calif., to introduce her limited-edition shoes for women and children, which feature the sunshine logo of her organization and its motto, “Look Within. Think Beyond. Reach Out.”
This is the third time TOMS and CTAOP have partnered (they first joined forces in 2009) to raise money for Theron’s organization, which works to keep African youth safe from HIV/AIDS.
“[TOMS] has been an incredible partner through the years and we are grateful for their ongoing support,” Theron said in a release. “This collaboration is a true representation of the passion all of us share for the safety and well-being of the youth in Africa and the impact we can make when we come together.”
Find the shoes ($58 for women, $34 for kids) at TOMS.com, TOMS.co.uk and the TOMS store in Venice.
