The Oscar Dresses You Didn’t See

After the last Oscar is handed out, actresses rush to change out of their elegant ballgowns and slip into something sexier (and more dance-floor-friendly!) for the after-parties. And since most stars’ second looks rarely get as much screen time as their red carpet numbers, we’re spotlighting our favorite post-show dresses.

Jennifer Lawrence: After tripping in her over-the-top Dior creation when accepting her trophy for Best Actress, the Oscar winner changed into something she could get down in — a second-skin metallic Calvin Klein Collection dress with a structured bodice. (Side note: Does the sexiness and simplicity of this gown remind anyone else of a certain other Calvin Klein Collection design Lawrence once wore on the red carpet?)

Naomi Watts: The actress swapped her gunmetal Armani Privé gown for an equally amazing dress, this one a disco-ready one-shoulder black and gold beaded Emilio Pucci number. We’d gladly borrow either from you, Naomi.

Zoë Saldana: Though Saldana‘s red carpet look was debatable (we’re still scratching our heads over that belt), everyone can agree that the star nailed it the second time around in a romantic ruffled black Givenchy dress. And we respect her for sticking to what she likes — floral necklines and intricate designs.

Anne Hathaway: One star who refused to get on board with the black-and-white trend — and we’re okay with that — is Hathaway, who slipped out of her pastel pink Prada number for a custom sky blue Saint Laurent confection with a sparkly gold neckline.

Olivia Munn: She may not have been nominated, but Munn was definitely out to steal a bit of the spotlight. She traded her ruby red regal creation (you’ve gotta see it from all angles!) for a sexier beaded blush Versace gown with a thigh-high slit.
