Oscar host Seth MacFarlane's boob song didn't just irk normal women (and men) watching and tweeting angrily from their sofas; it made plenty of attendees uncomfortable too. If you aren't sure whether it was terribly offensive or just Macfarlane being his normal raunchy self, just watch the reactions of the women whose breasts he sang about. Their faces say it all.
When Naomi Watts was mentioned for her sex scene in Mulholland Drive, she looked genuinely shocked and then horrified.
Charlize Theron probably saw her shout-out coming. She didn't seem surprised, but she did look infuriated. (Of note: her boob-showing character was a rape victim, so do with that what you will.)
Jennifer Lawrence got a mention because, unlike the other song subjects, she has yet to show her boobs onscreen. Thus, her reaction was this:
From now on, any actress who considers going topless for a movie role gets to wonder if they'll be mocked on national television in front of their most accomplished peers. Why couldn't Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have hosted tonight, again?
