Mr. Kloss Had Never Heard of Kate Moss

Yesterday, we met the younger twin sisters of Karlie Kloss, and today, WSJ. introduces us to her father Kurt, an ER doctor. He told the magazine (Derek Blasberg, to be specific) about a trip to Chicago, when Karlie was in middle school, and he came to understand modeling could be her career: "An agent pulled me aside and said she was going to be the next Kate Moss. Not that she could be, but that she was going to be ... I had to look up who Kate Moss was." Blasberg adds that Kurt "nearly got into a shoving match" after a man approached Karlie in Paris, and "he wept" when she closed for Viktor & Rolf. Now we're really pushing for a reality show.
