No matter what movie or television show she stars in, Jane Seymour will forever be "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" in my mind. She was the ultimate frontier woman in that wide-brim hat, suede menswear vest and ground-sweeping maxi skirt. And I can't forget about her signature side braid. (I stayed up late plenty of nights trying to get my curls to stretch perfectly into a similar plait.)
Early on in her career, Seymour's personal style was much like the modestly-covered Dr. Quinn. She favored long, flowy dresses and simple hairstyles -- save for that cleavage-baring gown she wore to the London premiere of "Live And Let Die." Oddly enough, in 2000, when the English actress was made an officer of the Order of the British Empire, her red-carpet choices took a much sexier turn.
With an enviable figure, the former Bond girl has been unabashedly honest about her appearance saying, "I had ordered long legs, but they never arrived. My eyes are weird too, one is gray and the other is green. I have a crooked smile and my nose looks like a ski slope. No, I would not win a Miss contest." But we'd have to respectfully disagree.
