"What are we calling this hair color? Red? Orange?" asked Redken hair stylist, Guido Palau. "Cognac!" The bright coppery hue was inspired by the fiery locks of model Irina Kravchenko, who opened for Alexander Wang last season. To get the appearance of uniform, blunt cuts, models' hair was slicked back into low ponytails then wrapped in extensions. "It's a futuristic look that makes them all look like clones," said Palau, who added extra shine to the dos with Redken's Diamond Oil. Well, making each model look just like the next is certainly one way to hide Liberty Ross on the catwalk.
