Recommended treatment: Careful and thoughtful consideration of each outfit before putting on whatever shoes are lying by the front door. How cute would her star-print-sweater-and-jeans-combo have been with a pair of silver pumps? Imagine her striking, ballerina-inspired Zac Posen dress with a less-clunky set of shoes — perhaps delicate sandals in a contrasting pink? And while we actually like the print on the pumps she wore with her ruffled Michael Kors two-piece outfit, they were much more effective deployed a few days later with jeans and a white sweater. She didn’t have to go boring, but maybe a bit less busy — like these Nicholas Kirkwood lace booties that tie into the outfit better.
