Billie Lourd continues to prove she and mom Carrie Fisher are cut from the same cloth. At her mother's posthumous Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on May 4, Lourd wore a floor-length dress featuring a still of one of Fisher's most iconic characters: Princess Leia. The custom look was the ultimate tribute to Fisher's legendary acting career.
The large Princess Leia print covered the bottom half of Lourd's skirt, while the rest of the unique gown included a black sequined top with a deep V-neckline and small keyhole cutout. Lourd carried on the sci-fi aesthetic with silver glitter eyeliner and matching diamond earrings, even showing off a "Star Wars"-inspired manicure with Princess Leia nail art. Fisher's former "Star Wars" costar, Mark Hamill, was also in attendance, standing beside Lourd in a blue shirt and leather jacket.
During the ceremony, Lourd spoke more about what Fisher's famous character meant to her, especially following her mom's death in 2016. "I feel so lucky that even though [my kids] won't get to meet my mom, they will get to know a piece of her through Leia," she said, per People. "And I will get to tell them that the little lady in the TV is my Momby, their Grandmomby. Leia has become a family heirloom, and not just for my family."
