Florence Pugh's green Valentino gown is a reminder that she belongs in the limelight. At the April 27 reopening of Tiffany & Co.'s flagship store, The Landmark, in New York City, the 27-year-old actor stepped out in a completely sheer dress, using her floor-length sleeves to create movement. Only her off-the-shoulder bodice was lined, leaving the rest of the gown totally see-through for an ethereal effect. Additional chiffon material pooled around her to form a small train and create the illusion of a cape.
Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Pugh completed her look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co., including a sparkling pear-cut pendant. She then matched her silver platform Valentino heels to her manicure, and surprised fans by debuting an entirely new hairstyle: a sleek shoulder-length bob with bangs.
Pugh announced her new campaign with Valentino just a few days prior, so it's no wonder she chose to represent the brand. The sheer gown is true to Pugh's personal aesthetic: She wore a sheer polo dress to a screening of "A Good Person" in March, and a thong-baring skirt to attend Valentino's fall 2023 runway show. She also gravitates to dramatic looks, and wore floor-length opera gloves on another red carpet in March, swinging them around on the red carpet in a similar fashion. Read on to see Pugh's latest appearance, and keep expecting the unexpected.
