Demi Moore and daughter Scout LaRue Willis paid ode to the early aughts in boldly coordinated dresses at the Fashion Trust US Awards on Tuesday, March 21. The inaugural ceremony, which championed young designer talent in the industry, was held at Goya Studios in LA and opened the stage to Willis, who showed off her musical chops with an emotional, stripped-back performance. The 31-year-old singer-songwriter wore a hot-pink, halter-style maxi with a triangular cutout at the bust and a leg slit that revealed a pair of matching crystalized knee-high boots. Willis accessorized with an embellished box clutch, pearl drop earrings, and numerous rings, wearing her hair in relaxed waves with a part at the center.
Moore, 60, was complementary to the watermelon color scheme in an asymmetrical chiffon tank dress that she styled beneath a floor-length fur coat. She toted a matching kiwi leather purse, opted for black satin pumps, and showed off a pair of architectural fringe earrings. Like her daughter, Moore's silky-straight hair was left down, and she chose the same shade of rose-tinted lipstick. Their poses on the red carpet not only exhibited their look-alike qualities, but also emitted a joyful tone.
Moore and Willis were joined by other fashion pioneers such as Ciara in Grace Ling; Storm Reid in Jonathan Simkhai; Tracee Ellis Ross in Erdem; Olivia Wilde in Chloé; and Law Roach, who presented the graduate award in an archival logo Gucci coat from the late André Leon Talley's personal collection.
Moore, who is styled by Brad Goreski, also recently attended a pre-Oscars party in a sparkling minidress, and sat front row at the Versace show alongside her first daughter Rumer on March 9. Ahead, see every angle of Moore and Willis sharing a bright moment together before Willis impressed every guest with her stunning vocals.
