Versace's fall 2023 show was a star-studded affair. Opting out of the traditional fashion calendar this season, Donatella Versace hosted the brand's latest collection on March 9 in Los Angeles, where celebrities gathered for an opulent evening at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
Hollywood glamour was certainly the theme of the night. Ahead of her album release party celebrating "Endless Summer Vacation," Miley Cyrus stunned in a two-toned one-shoulder gown decorated with chain detailing. Fashion risk-taker Lil Nas X wore a crystal fringe top and embellished leather miniskirt, while Anne Hathaway, a Versace regular, looked cool as ever in a croc-embossed leather minidress and sky-high platform boots.
Fashion-week mainstays Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, and Emily Ratajkowski modeled the sophisticated collection in uniquely-embellished black dresses and smoky eye makeup. Inspired by a previous Versace line from the mid-'90s, the fall collection reintroduced luxury, elegance, and expert tailoring after many seasons focused on streetwear. "I wanted to go back to the cut and shape of the clothes, to concentrate on the perfect little black dress, the perfect black suit," Versace said in an interview with Vogue before the show.
Other memorable looks in the front row included Gabrielle Union's hooded black dress with a neckline that plunged down to her belly button; Dua Lipa's sleek conical halter gown; and Paris Hilton's crystallized minidress reminiscent of her iconic chainmail birthday number, which she paired with matching fingerless gloves.
