Zaya Wade is officially a runway model. On March 7, the 15-year-old made her debut at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week, with Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union cheering her on from the front row. Wearing a khaki-colored sweater dress and matching knit jacket, she strutted down the catwalk with confidence, clutching a brown leather bag by the designer. She further accessorized with buckled kitten heels in a glossy, chocolate-brown hue.
The proud parents supported their daughter in coordinating black outfits and Miu Miu-branded sunglasses to hide their happy tears. Styled by Thomas Christos Kikis and Jason Bolden respectively, the "Bring It On" actor wore a sleek short-sleeve dress stamped with the designer's logo and the controversial thong boot, while the former NBA player chose a Prada leather jacket with a crisp white button-down and skinny tie underneath.
Before the show, Union told WWD, "I'm trying not to cry, hence the glasses. Normally I don't wear glasses during a show, but today I don't know if I'll be able to keep it together. No one needs to document my ugly cry." Kikis also shared a selfie with Union and Wade from the front row, writing, "we cried."
Working with Kikis, Zaya later changed into a gray cardigan and matching knit skirt after the presentation, where she embraced her father in a sweet moment. She added black sunglasses, casual sneakers, and an oversize leather jacket to complete the cool look.
For the past few years, the 15-year-old has been a style star to watch. Zaya attended Miu Miu's last show in October 2022, wearing a version of the label's popular low-rise miniskirt. She recently graced her winter formal in an ethereal Rodarte slip dress adorned with a rose appliqué.
