Ciara has been cycling through some of our favorite style trends at Fashion Week, and her grand tour isn't over yet. On March 2, the "Jump" singer commanded attention in an oversized, cutout sweater by Celine on the red carpet at Paris Fashion Week. In a masterful nod to the "no-pants" trend - which we've spotted on the likes of Maya Hawke and Sydney Sweeney - Ciara layered the completely see-through piece over a set of black underwear. Her accessories included a pair of knee-high lugged-sole boots in black.
During a fashion era when less is definitely more (see: Rosalía's sheer dress at the Billboard Women in Music Awards and Jessie J's crystal-embellished maternity dress), Ciara's look is perfect for the high-fashion red carpets of Paris. Her boxy mohair sweater featured a cable-knit pattern perforated with dozens of teardrop cutouts.
Wearing the piece off the shoulder, Ciara created an uneven hem that hit mid-thigh, right above her leather boots. The sweater's oversized sleeves also bunched around her wrists, sharing a quick glimpse at her "rich-girl" manicure. Through the diagonal slits in the fabric and her waist-length waves, Ciara revealed a black bandeau top paired with high-waisted black underwear.
Last month, the "1, 2, Step" singer showed off her style prowess in the hooded dress trend while attending the Recording Academy's Black Music Collective.
