Anne Hathaway's fashion renaissance continues. On Feb. 16, she kicked off the Berlin Film Festival in a show-stopping dress at the premiere of "She Came to Me," a modern romantic comedy also starring Peter Dinklage and Marisa Tomei. Wearing a near-naked gown pulled from the Valentino spring 2023 runway, the actor posed for the cameras on the red carpet. The sheer maxi was covered in black loops and tiny bows that created a chain-link effect, revealing her nude underwear underneath.
Stylist Erin Walsh is responsible for the actor's latest outfit (and recent style evolution). She paired the see-through dress with leather opera gloves, diamond drop earrings, and pointed heels with bow detailing on the back. Hathaway completed the look with an Pamela Anderson-inspired messy updo and her usual neutral makeup.
The "WeCrashed" actor has long been a fan of Valentino's couture designs. In fact, she sat front row at the very runway show that debuted the ribbon dress during Paris Couture Week in January. At the event, she paid tribute to the designer in a sequined leopard-print minidress and matching leggings. She also attended the fashion house's couture show in July 2022 wearing a striking Barbiecore-approved sequin dress and six-inch platform sandals.
Earlier in the day on Feb. 16, she turned heads in a full Alaïa look from the brand's spring 2023 runway. She stepped out to promote "She Came to Me" in a plunging black bodysuit with a subtle hood attached to it, which she paired with a maxi skirt with a slit mirroring the deep neckline on top.
