Why hold a purse when you can wear one? Kendall Jenner arrived at the Atlantis The Royal opening celebration in Dubai on Jan. 21 dressed in an avant-garde Schiaparelli dress. Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the chocolate-brown satin slip featured a thigh-high leg slit and a figure-hugging silhouette. More importantly, however, the gold hardware at the neckline made it seem as though the model was wearing a handbag around her neck.
The metallic halterneck consisted of a chain link attached to the top of the garment, which also featured a lip casting. Jenner accessorized the look with the brand's ornate ear-shaped earrings, as well as simple walnut flip-flop heels by The Row. When it came to her glam, she left her hair down and opted for a brown smoky eye to match the mahogany color of her outfit.
Jenner isn't the only one wearing some Schiaparelli lately: her own sister Kylie Jenner recently attended Paris Fashion Week with an entire lion's head attached to her corset gown. While not typically in the business of making wearable accessories, this isn't the first time Roseberry has used metals artistically in his designs, previously dreaming up a gown for Bella Hadid with a massive lung-shaped necklace at the Cannes Film Festival.
