Ashley Graham's latest look is a work of art. After stepping out in a sweeping blue gown at the British Fashion Awards, the supermodel quickly changed into an edgier, figure-hugging dress for the afterparty on Dec. 5. From Syndical Chamber, the draped purple dress was covered in an optical-illusion print that appeared as if it were painted on.
Aside from the trippy design, the double-layer mesh piece also featured cutouts across the chest and a thigh-high slit. Given the dress speaks for itself, the 35-year-old mom of three kept her accessories simple. With the help of stylist Emily Evans, Graham finished the look with silver Jimmy Choo sandals, earrings, and a sparkly metallic clutch.
Created by designer Sergio Castaño Peña, Syndical Chamber is a Spain-based brand that's known for its wet-draped dresses with trompe l'oeil, a visual art that's described as deceiving the eyes with 3D effects. Every mesh piece is custom-made to act as "second skin" to the body. Most recently, model Nahuane Drumond wore a Syndical Chamber design at the 2022 People's Choice Awards on Dec. 6.
Graham's fitted mesh dress is quite the departure from her outfit earlier in the night. Wearing a sky-blue Patrick McDowell creation featuring a printed high-slit dress and matching overcoat, she presented the award for model of the year at the event celebrating the best in fashion.
