Madelyn Cline's fall wardrobe is serving fairy-tale extravagance. On Nov. 23, the "Outer Banks" star paid a visit to the set of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to promote her upcoming film, "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery." As she strutted into the studio, Cline, styled by Mimi Cuttrell, wore a satin dress by Alexandre Vauthier and matching knee-high boots in poison-apple green. She paired the look with shimmering earrings and a Pamela Anderson-inspired updo.
The chartreuse ensemble consisted of lengthy sleeves and structured shoulders that curved down into a ruched bodice. At either side of her waist, the sharp hip cutouts were split in two by strappy ties that wrapped around the backless dress and formed a delicate bow. Below the bodice, the fitted skirt flowed into a breezy skirt with an uneven hem that refracted the light as it rippled around her lustrous boots.
As the temperature continues to drop, Cline isn't the only celebrity to ditch extra fabric in favor of creating a chic style moment. On Nov. 14, Anya Taylor-Joy braved the cold in a cherry-red Magda Butrym lace babydoll dress and a matching patent-leather trench coat during a stroll in NYC. That same day, Taylor-Joy attended the New York City premiere of her new film, "The Menu," while wearing a sheer maxi dress and open-toe platforms. Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift, and Lori Harvey, among other celebrities, have also been spotted sporting the cutout and sheer trends this season - proof that a little chilly weather can't put a stop to style.
