Naturally, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's first big public event as a married couple involved their mutual love of fashion. The newlyweds, who married in July, attended Ralph Lauren's spring/summer 2022 show in matching all-black ensembles on Oct. 13. They joined fellow stars like Lily Collins, Angus Cloud, and John Legend to view the new collection at the Huntington Museum and Gardens in San Marino, CA.
With help from styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Lopez opted for a pinstripe wrap dress from the designer, which featured a plunging V neckline and side slit. She topped off the look with a matching black cowboy hat courtesy of Nick Fouquet. Accessory-wise, she reached for a Tyler Ellis black clutch and pointed-toe heels, as well as an assortment of Jacquie Aiche Jewelry that accented her vampy fall nails. Her large thunderbird diamond necklace, in particular, sparkled among the dark pieces. Similarly, Affleck wore a wool suit in the same charcoal hue, with a plaid button-down and patterned tie that blended into his Ralph Lauren outfit.
Ralph Lauren holds deep significance for the couple, who exclusively wore looks from the designer for their second wedding ceremony in Georgia in late August. Lopez donned five different bridal looks by Ralph Lauren to celebrate throughout the weekend, including a ruffled, handkerchief gown down the aisle, a gown dripping in pearls and Swarovski crystals, and another wedding dress that exuded sporty glamour. She also chose a gold plunging halter dress for her rehearsal dinner and a post-wedding-brunch striped dress, both by the designer. Affleck, on the other hand, looked sleek in a classic cream-colored tux with a black bow tie at the wedding.
The two also attended the 2021 Met Gala with the designer in Western-inspired style - J Lo stunned in a brown gown embellished with beads and feathers and a cowboy hat to match.
