Zoë Kravitz brought her signature '90s-inspired style to the stage at "Saturday Night Live" on March 12. "The Batman" star showcased her effortless style in pared-down looks, when she wasn't wearing costumes for skits that ran the gamut from Princess Tiana's lily pad gown to a bubblegum pink maid-of-honor dress at her best friend's wedding.
Working with stylist Andrew Mukamal for the promos, the actress set the mood in pieces from The Row, including a scuba camisole and leather belt look. And when she emerged for her monologue, she was in an outfit that felt quintessentially Kravitz: a sheer, button-down tied into a crop top. She layered the shirt over a black bra and finished her look with low-slung black trousers. As for the accessories, Kravitz finished her outfit with suede pumps, a few chunky rings, and crystal drop earrings.
Later in the evening, she rewore the same black pumps from the monologue with high-rise denim, a fitted black tee, a face mask, and her standard gold jewelry. As is "SNL" host tradition, she thanked the audience before the credits rolled and headed out with the rest of the cast for the afterparty.
Kravitz's latest red carpet wear has ranged from a Saint Laurent column dress with cutouts for "The Batman" premiere to a velvet Oscar de la Renta kitty corset that nodded to her onscreen Catwoman character. For her press tour, Kravitz's outfits have mostly been in keeping with her "SNL" wardrobe, consisting of tailored slacks, turtlenecks, and more elevated basics. At times, she'll deliver a glamorous pop of color like the cherry red Saint Laurent skirt with fringe trim she wore to play games with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show."
