Ciara brought her signature thigh-high slit to the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which she guest-hosted on March 4. The award-winning singer rocked a rich green midi dress created by South African designer Rich Mnisi. Featuring an asymmetric shoulder, a high neckline, and a long right sleeve, the look is a recent release from Mnisi's eponymous multidisciplinary brand, which, according to its website, was founded in 2015 to "unearth Africa's hidden treasures while also being youthful, contemporary, and modern."
The thigh-high slit showed off Ciara's strappy gold stiletto heels. Dressed by longtime stylist Kollin Carter, the 36-year-old appeared simple yet refined, decorating each arm with an equally chic stack of bracelets.
Joining his wife for the special occasion, Russell Wilson opted for a laid-back look: an all-white tee, a jacket, and pants, accessorized with a short silver cross necklace. The NFL quarterback surprised his other half on set with a bouquet of pink and red roses, then with a grand gesture of getting on his knees to inquire about having one more baby. Ciara responded: "We've already been there before. But I'm down to do it again with you!"
As her past style moments would indicate, Ciara is a fan of dramatic slits and unexpected cutouts, as well as sporty and romantic silhouettes.
Whether she's vacationing or attending a launch party, the Grammy-winning artist has really evolved when it comes to personal style, firmly working toward fashion-icon status.
Ahead, shop the Black-owned design, and watch Ciara and Wilson in action on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
