Dua Lipa has a new rule: you can't leave the house without at least one item of fuzzy clothing. On March 3, the "Levitating" singer stopped by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" wearing a head-turning outfit from NYC-based brand Area. Styled by Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa wore black feather thigh-high platform boots and a matching houndstooth set. On top, the heart-shaped green and yellow crop top is outlined with crystals, and her matching skirt features pockets lined with crystals and colorful feathers down the sides.
Lipa paired her outfit with a link chain necklace, small hoop earrings, rings, and crystal-covered bangles. She's currently on tour for her "Future Nostalgia" album, and this recent stop in New York City is looking especially stylish. Earlier that day, Lipa rocked an Elmo-inspired fuzzy red Bottega Veneta outfit, as she's fully leaning into the cozy time of year.
Not only did Lipa wow us with the chic Yeti boots, but she also spoke about "reclaiming" her viral dance move from 2017 that some described as her "trying to put her shoe on in a rush" (her words, not ours). "There was a moment where it caused me a lot of grief - I was being bullied online. It wasn't very nice," Lipa says. "But now, I can look at it from a different perspective. I look back on it with such fondness, because it helped me grow into the artist I wanted to become. It made me work harder. I went in, I did more rehearsal. I just wanted to become a real performer, and I think that was kind of the thing that I needed."
