It's that time of the year when inconsistent climate changes can wreak havoc on your hair and makeup. Even though celebrities have beauty professionals on speed dial, they aren't exempt from this challenge.
Chloë Grace Moretz recently popped up on the red carpet wearing a loose side braid that would save any girl on a rainy day. Meanwhile, Hannah Simone must have discovered the perfect hair serum to keep her bangs super sleek. And Laura Vandervoort's matte red lipstick remained intact while posing pretty in Cannes. (Could her secret be lip primer?)
However, Kristen Wiig and Emma Roberts were among the not-so-lucky ones with hair and makeup that was all over the place.
Check out this week's best and worst beauty looks below and tell us your thoughts.
BEST: Chloë Grace Moretz
We love the "Carrie" star's messy side braid hairstyle, and her brown smokey eyes and nude lipstick are totally age-appropriate.
BEST: Laura Vandervoort
Vandervoort channels old Hollywood with her wispy lashes and matte red lip color but gives the look a modern touch with her angular blonde bob.
BEST: Jennifer Hudson
Well, hello beautiful! The 32-year-old is taking our breath away with her jet black curls, subtle smokey eye makeup, plum blush and burgundy lipstick (a great fall color).
BEST: Georgia May Jagger
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Jagger can do no wrong with her signature blonde ringlets, thick eyeliner, black mascara and pink lip stain.
BEST: Hannah Simone
This "New Girl" has some of the best bangs in the biz! Simone's side-swept waves complement her fringe perfectly, and her lush lashes and rosy face makeup draw our attention to her big brown eyes.
WORST: Ashley Greene
We're still on the fence about Greene's new blonde hair color, especially since the highlights clash with her grayish-black brows and bronzer.
WORST: Adrienne Maloof
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star must have had a little too much fun at Life & Style's Hollywood In Bright Pink event because her hair extensions look lifeless, and her purple eyeshadow and bronze lipstick seem to be holding on for dear life.
WORST: Kristen Wiig
Wiig's orange skin and hair are absolutely no laughing matter. The muddled hues make her appear much older than she really is.
WORST: Emma Roberts
We know that white eyeliner made a comeback on the Spring 2014 runways, but this isn't how it should be translated into the real world. Roberts' clumpy mascara and frizzy blonde strands make the young actress' complexion look washed out.
WORST: Angela Bassett
The "American Horror Story: Coven" star's spikey haircut and shimmering navy eyeshadow have us entranced, but not in a good way. A less hair-raising 'do and minimal makeup would have accentuated the actress' natural beauty.
