We know you worked hard on that summer beach body, lady. So for a few days, why not ditch the maxi dresses and step into a few things that’ll get heads turning? Then Monday it’s back to your regular ladylike ensemble — though you may smile at your desk thinking about the traffic you stopped all weekend.

Saturday night: Lord knows we love putting on sweatpants and cuddling on the couch as much (more?) as the next person, but sometimes you just want to slip into a dress that has your guy saying “Aaoooogah” with his eyes popping out just like a cartoon character. This dress, on model Erin Heatherton, will definitely achieve that — plus, the angelic white hue definitely has a “Sex kitten? Who, me?” vibe that amps up the irresistible factor. Ready to take the plunge? This ASOS dress is under $40, and your boyfriend’s reaction will be priceless.

Sunday brunch: Alessandra Ambrosio has mastered summer attire, somehow managing to look perfectly put together and entirely effortless at once. Her Black Orchid cutoffs, which have a thin blue-and-white pinstripe, are a refreshing seersucker-esque alternative to your basic jorts, and the sheer button-up plays up the preppy vibe. A neon Michael Michael Kors bag and cream sandals give the look extra hipster polish, while the aviators cover any manner of night-before sins. These on-sale Madewell shorts have a similar stripey vibe, and an electric yellow Vince Camuto crossbody (also marked way down) will provide the finishing touch. Correction: Your gorgeous gams will provide the finishing touch. The rest is just icing on the cake.

Monday morning: Why we love Jessica Alba‘s look for easing back into the workweek: It’s perfectly office-appropriate but (thanks to the coral top and yellow heels) still a lot of fun. Her sheer-sleeved blazer is a perfect summer version of the wardrobe staple and doesn’t weigh down her Carolina Herrera skirt, while her Brian Atwood heels play off the skirt’s print. To make this work for work, we’d swap the sandals for a pair of pumps in a similarly sunny color (these are just $31!) and add a subtly sassy skirt, like this J. Crew one.
Tell us: Which outfit(s) will you try this weekend?
