The world has been closely following Edward Snowden, the whistleblower who revealed the National Security Agency's secret surveillance programs to the press and subsequently hopped from Hawaii to Hong Kong to Russia to avoid capture.
Turns out lingerie company Blush Berlin is particularly fascinated by the unfolding Snowden saga, so much so that it's incorporated Snowden into its latest promotional materials. As Mashable noted, Blush Berlin has taken the NSA leak scandal and used it to playfully promote its lingerie.
"Hey NSA, want some intimates? Don't spy them, buy them!!" reads Blush Berlin's Facebook page. The brand also strikes a supportive tone: "Dear Edward, take good care! We are with you!"
Blush Berlin certainly isn't the first brand to mine current events for promotional opportunities (see: these Pussy Riot bra ads). What do you think?
