It's been a big day in social media: First the FLOTUS joined Instagram, and now the Condé Nast artistic director and Vogue overlord had her very first encounter with Twitter. Just like her friend Barack Obama, she used her initials to approve of the social media message, signing off her missive with A.W. (see, it's really her!) on the official @voguemagazine account, which she commandeered to share her approval of marriage equality. Maybe it’s because she supports so many successful (and gay) designers. What big occasion will get Anna tweeting next?
Today’s rulings are a big step forward for all Americans striving to achieve equality. I couldn’t be happier or more proud. —A.W.
