That’s what the actor and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman is asking his fans via Instagram. Sharing the below photo of himself with flowing — and might we add, perfectly highlighted — tresses (Brad Pitt, anyone?), Leto posed the important question, “should I cut off this hippy hair?”

Leto has made some interesting hair choices in the past (who could forget that faux-hawk?), but we have to admit that we’re biased when it comes to the star’s strands.
We like ‘em long. How could we not when we spent hours watching My So Called Life and fantasizing about running our hands through his character’s mane? So, while we’re fine with him trimming his “hippy” hair, we kindly request that he keep it shoulder-length or longer, as Jordan Catalano would have.
