We’ve seen some fabulous hats in the past, but once again, the stars pulled out all the stops in terms of their fancy toppers.

Country star Miranda Lambert wore the kind of hat we expect from a Southern belle: a wide-brimmed, rose-pink hat with elegant floral details.

Model (and PEOPLE StyleWatch blogger) Coco Rocha went a little more high-fashion, with romantic orchids tucked into a taupe number that reminded us a bit of British wedding hats.

And Lauren Conrad nodded to tradition — without going over the top — with a romantic, oversized jeweled hairpin for Louisville’s the Unbridled Eve Gala on Friday night.
