When Amber Rose’s midwife told her that the fetus was in the breech position, or feet-first, Rose’s birth plan — which dedicated readers will recall involved fiancé Wiz Khalifa “sticking his hands down there and pulling the baby out” — went “down the drain.” On The Ricky Lake Show yesterday, Rose said that she tried everything in order to stick to her Business of Being Born–inspired natural home birth — “mugwort, acupuncture, and … an inversion, which is when you go to the hospital and they try to manually turn your baby.” (That reportedly hurts.) Rose ended up delivering son Sebastian Taylor via c-section, a procedure which Dr. Wiz is not qualified to perform. But there’s always next time. “I feel like I made the right decision, but I knew right after having a c-section that [with] our next baby I definitely want to have my baby at home,” Rose told Lake.
