Confession: I have no self-control. So when told about an app that might give me access to shamelessly stalk any and all of my exes with the false pretense of gaining insight into their lives (sans me), naturally I jumped at the opportunity. What transpired was a visceral reaction to one of the most jaw-dropping, stomach-curling, rosacea-inducing, sad Internet moments of my adult life.
The store: Forever 21
The time: Forever 21 is having a Pre-Black Friday Sale beginning Wednesday, November 20, featuring up to 50 percent off select items ($10 off boots!). On Black Friday, Forever 21 will launch its "yellow tag deals" with items starting out as low as $3.00.
The standout deals: According to Forever 21's Twitter, "Arrive early for a chance to receive a discount of 15 percent or 20 percent off your in-store purchase on 11/29."
The store: Sephora
The time: Sephora isn't open on Thanksgiving day, but is open on Black Friday and has sales extending into Saturday and Sunday.
The standout deals: As part of Sephora's "Dealtopia," limited edition products are $10 on Black Friday and $20 on Saturday and Sunday. They're available online and in stores, but only "while supplies last."

Between her days in Bikini Kill and her time with Le Tigre, Kathleen Hanna lived the '90s to their fullest.
That includes the fashions. There were the grunge moments in plaid, the graphic tees, the colorful hair and some intense lipstick. But there is one trend from that decade that the singer and feminist activist would not like to come back.
"I hate stretch pants," said Hanna on HuffPost Live on Monday. "I like the shiny leggings... but I'm not that into the stretch pant thing, especially ones with flowers all over them."
