Before you get a start on the weekend, why not take some time to check out our runway galleries? If you've looked through them then today's quiz should be a breeze. First question below is about a look by a designer who knows his way around couture. Set among an elaborate garden at the Musée Rodin, the willowy models closed the show in a series of ever more elaborate gowns, like this tea-length creation. The combination of an intricately beaded skirt with the houndstooth patch over the chest is reminiscent of what a really chic girl at a boarding school would wear to one of her many balls.
The second question features a pair of shoes sure to be popular among the street-style set next year. The designer is known for her cool French-girl appeal and it shows in these studded cutout ankle boots that toughened up cropped pants and ruffled minidresses. They look great paired with a T-shirt and jeans — which is how the designer wore them to take her final bow.
For the final question, take a look at this beaded bodice on a bustier. Inspired by showgirls, the avant-garde label layered flashy and sparkly pieces over menswear-inspired suiting for a fresh take on masculine-meets-feminine dressing. Alone, it could easily be worn onstage by an over-the-top performer. But when tempered against black, it looks editorial-spread-ready.
