Not since the days of the "Prime Suspect" fedora and the stylish "Pan Am" uniform caps (the 2011-2012 TV season) have hats been so prevalent in new TV shows.
On NBC's "The Blacklist," there's Raymond “Red” Reddington's (James Spader) criminally devious hat that adds mystery to the character's motivations.
But ABC is the network with the most new hats, largely thanks to "Back in the Game." James Caan stars as an ex-athlete who was never really the father Terry (Maggie Lawson) needed. Their relationship fell apart after she lost her college softball scholarship, but now, she's carrying on the family legacy by coaching her son's misfit Little League team. Cue baseball hats for all! And midseason gives us ABC's "Killer Women," a Texas Ranger drama starring a few ex-"Battlestar Galactica" Cylons with tons cowboy hats. Yee-haw!
