As a team, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott are among the most formidable fashion photographers in the world. So for a party that they’re throwing in honor of Madonna, you would want to wear your fashionable finest, of course. And you just have to hope that someone else’s “best” is different than yours. However, it appears that Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora had very similar ideas (the horror!).

The two FOJ (friends of Jay Z) arrived in near-identical numbers consisting of skintight, skin-tone latex. Key differences: the necklines (Kim’s was a turtleneck, while Rita’s had a turtleneck and a chest cutout) the styling (Kim added a fur and wore strappy sandals, while Rita went bare-armed and chose nude pumps) and, um, the hair color?

Though both ladies are confident in their own style (and Kim’s no stranger to a latex dress), we can’t help but notice they didn’t pose cheek to cheek like the last set of red carpet twinners we noticed. But the real question is: Are we sure this dress is putty colored and not, say, blue and black?
