Anna Friel, who plays the wife of porn mogul Paul Raymond in The Look of Love, was researching the role and wanted to tell her father about it: "I sent an email to my dad with some pictures of Jean Raymond. He called me afterwards and said, 'I think you're going a bit far on this one.' I wondered what he meant and then I realized I'd sent him an email attachment of an actual porn shoot that Jean did — I mean, everything. I was mortified."
Is there any way to recover from that? I think you just have to deny, even in the face of irrefutable evidence. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Dad. There were no attachments on that e-mail. No, don't describe them. I have actually been blind for the last three years, I forgot to tell you that when I was home for Christmas. Good-bye, I've got to be getting back to the convent now, for my daily lesson in how babies grow in cabbage patches and sex is the number that comes before seven."
