Funny enough, all it took was a classic LBD.
The Scandal actress, known for her trend-setting ensembles, channeled her traditional side in this Calvin Klein Collection dress she wore to the Variety Emmy Studio event in West Hollywood this week.

To add a touch of glam, Washington paired the timeless frock with leopard-print Christian Louboutin heels and a quilted Roger Vivier bag. Completing the look, which earned more than 22,000 likes, was a flawless face of minimal makeup and bold bangs. A modern-day Audrey Hepburn, we’d say.
Two other black-clad beauties claimed second and third place – Carey Mulligan (in a monochromatic look by Hugo Boss) and Emma Watson (in a Chanel mini) – making it the color of the week.
