Mary Alice Stephenson is always thinking of new ways to use her foundation, GLAM4GOOD, to improve the lives of those who've fallen on hard times. "For me, fashion is this glamorous armor that we have that helps us sometimes face more difficult things," she says. "And if you feel like you've been pampered or taken care of or protected in something beautiful, it often helps you get through far more devastating things."
One recent act of kindness? An outing for Operation Pearl Drop, where Mary Alice delivered pearl earrings to unsuspecting women and girls in Rockaway, Queens, after the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy.
