Vanessa Hudgens is staying devoted to a Halloween-influenced wardrobe this October, stepping out for Thomas Ashbourne's margarita dinner in a black ribbed sweater dress punctuated with edgy accessories and flashy makeup. The 33-year-old "tick, tick...BOOM!" star completed the number, which came with a turtleneck halter, low back, and thigh slit, with statement-making green metallic knee-high boots from Alexandre Vauthier - the perfect match to her glittering slime-colored eyeshadow.
As usual, Hudgens stacked on the jewelry, including chunky signet rings in sinister motifs from Verameat and The Great Frog, as well as her Cartier Love bracelet and several hoop earrings. She pulled back her hair into a slick ponytail with a center part and finished the look with sharply-pointed, shimmering charcoal nails and a matte, tawny nude lip.
Hudgens attended the Oct. 8 event at West Hollywood's San Vicente Bungalows as co-founder of the craft spirit brand, and her boyfriend Cole Tucker and friends Rosario Dawson and Ashley Benson - both of whom are also partners of the label - were there to support. All-black appeared to be the dress code of the evening, with Benson in a bustier-style cutout Versace dress with signature baroque trim and gold hardware and Tucker in a tee and skinny jeans, capped off with multicolor Nike sneakers and tortoise Ray-Bans.
Hudgens, who is also a fan of Versace, as proven with her sharp entrance at the spring 2023 runway show during Milan Fashion Week, recently opted for a playful Y2K ensemble with twisted pigtails at Thomas Ashbourne's Sept. 18 celebration in New York City. This came a few days after her arrival at Michael Kors in a cashmere catsuit and the release of her Barbiecore-inspired Nylon cover.
