Tickle Me, Iris Apfel

To shield themselves from the February cold, certain fall 2013 Fashion Week showgoers turned to Muppet-inspired outerwear —a trend that inexplicably resurfaces season after season. On day one, Sarah Jessica Parker opted for a Cookie Monster-blue fur jacket, worn with an LBD, bare legs, and coral-colored pumps. But, yesterday, Iris Apfel took Sesame Street dressing to a whole 'nother level, putting on a bright red fluffy coat, turtleneck, scarf, trousers, and duck boots. She completed her monochromatic look with matching lipstick and silver jewelry ... and we just want to squeeze her thrice, so she'll laugh; however, we always want to, regardless of her outfit.
